Ingredients
- 500g ribeye or striploin, thinly sliced into strips
- 2 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 red bell pepper, julienned
- 1 green bell pepper, julienned
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp Shaoxing wine (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Marinate Beef: Combine beef strips with soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and cornstarch. Let it rest for 15–20 minutes.
- Stir-Fry: Heat sesame oil in a wok. Stir-fry beef on high heat for 3–4 minutes until browned but not fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
- Cook Vegetables: In the same wok, stir-fry garlic, onion, and bell peppers until tender-crisp.
- Combine: Add beef back to the wok. Stir in Shaoxing wine (if using) and toss everything until well coated. Adjust seasoning.
