Ingredients
- 500 g minced beef (80% lean)
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Form and Smash Patties: Divide beef into 4 balls. Heat a cast-iron skillet, add the balls, and smash them flat with a spatula. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side.
- Caramelize Onions: In a separate pan, sauté onions in butter until soft and caramelized.
